I’m a front end developer with more than 5 years’ experience crafting interesting and unusual websites which are on-brand and responsive.
- succinct, semantially decisive HTML
- CSS backed by a “breadth and specificity” of skills (according to a client)
Together, these three skills help me to create websites that are accessible, usable and aesthetically pleasing.
I’m obsessed with code. I set up FESuffolk, a front-end user group based in my home town of Ipswich. The group meets every month to talk tech and share presentations based on front-end development and design.
On top of this, I’m always reading and researching around my field. I’m adept at spotting and embracing the best new techniques, and avoiding the ones that are just fads. As a result, I’m confident that the work I deliver to my clients is always cutting-edge.
I’m based in Suffolk, and available to work in and around East Anglia on a contract/freelance basis.
I can also work remotely for clients throughout the UK and the rest of Europe.
I work on a variety of long and short-term projects, and some months are busier than others. If you’re interested in working together, contact me by email.
Anders came to our aide recently to help clear a backlog of tasks. His responsiveness to the brief, professionalism, depth of knowledge and ability have been a great boost to the team, allowing us to bring a couple of stagnating WordPress based projects to successful closure.
The speed and accuracy of Anders’ work is a breath of fresh air and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
I hope to build on this newly formed relationship and look forward to drafting him on to the team for future projects.
Anders is a knowledgeable, eager and enthusiastic developer who works quickly and efficiently to produce high quality work. Anders has a deep interest in web development and has his finger on the pulse of the industry. An asset to any company.
Although I haven’t worked directly with Anders, I am involved with the Front End Suffolk user group which he runs for local web designers and developers, and can vouch for his experience, knowledge and enthusiasm across all areas of web development.
Anders is a talented developer, always keen to look for the most effective solution and implement it in the best way. As well as being focussed on his own work, he runs events for local developers to come together and learn new skills, demonstrating his commitment to the development community. His interest in new front-end technologies means that he is always up-to-date and able to offer the most appropriate solution.
Anders is extremely easy to work with and has fit into our work ethic and style immediately.
Anders is an expert in front end web development and his skills and knowledge seemly have no limit. His thoughtful approach to projects means he doesn't just try to get the work done, he develops with future work in mind, leaving code in a very maintainable state for additional work later down the line.
I'd be more than happy to hire Anders again and hope to work with him very soon.

Every month developers and designers meet to talk tech and share presentations based on front end development and design. These meet-ups have helped with the cross pollination of ideas and the understanding of new development concepts. read more about FESuffolk here.
